Wenatchee Bighorns to host free kids basketball camp and Star Wars night

CHELAN—The Wenatchee Bighorns are excited to announce a free kids basketball camp on Saturday, May 4, at the Chelan Community Gym, 317 E Johnson, Chelan. The camp is open to all boys and girls in grades 3-8 and will run from 9:30-11:30 a.m., with check-in starting at 9:00 a.m. Participants are encouraged to bring a basketball, a water bottle, and a positive attitude.

Following the camp, the Bighorns will host a tailgate party from 4:30-6:30 p.m., featuring a live DJ, bouncy house, face painting, and a taco food truck. The tailgate leads up to the Bighorns' game against the Emerald City Jaguars at 7:00 p.m., which will also be Star Wars Night. All youth participants in the free camp will receive free entry to the game.

Fans are invited to wear their favorite Star Wars gear to the game, and tickets are available for $10. Each ticket includes a chance to win $10,000, sponsored by Joe's Log Cabin, with one fan selected at every home game. In-game activities and prizes will also be featured.

The Bighorns will host another tailgate party on Sunday, May 5, from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. before their game that day.
