Spirit Awards were presented to Morgan Owings Elementary, Chelan High and Middle School students, and teachers at the 2nd annual Chelan High School Homecoming parade.

Lake Chelan School District Superintendent Brad Wilson welcomed everyone to the 2nd annual Chelan High School Homecoming parade on beautiful fall afternoon on Friday, Oct. 11. Many Old Goats, Young Goats and residents lined the streets for the parade and the pep rally. The Mountain Goats would play the Manson Trojans later that evening for their Homecoming Game. Every class from Morgan Owings Elementary, from preschoolers on up participated in the parade and cheered Chelan High School and Chelan Middle School athletes and students as they passed by.

CHELAN - Lake Chelan School District celebrated its Chelan High School Homecoming parade on Friday, Oct. 11, drawing crowds of residents and students to the town's streets.

Superintendent Brad Wilson welcomed attendees on a sunny fall afternoon. The parade featured participants ranging from preschoolers to high school athletes, with all classes from Morgan Owings Elementary School represented.

Chelan High School's pep band provided musical entertainment, while student organizations like the FFA marched alongside local emergency services vehicles.

Many participants wore pink or donned "Because You Matter" T-shirts, provided by Only7Seconds.com, showing community spirit.
